I'm Stevie, I've been a big fan of Xena for the last few years and thought I'd join up so I can talk to others who love Xena just as much as me! I only recently was able to get the whole series on DVD so I'm watching from start to finish and it's so much fun getting to watch the episodes I have missed out on (mostly seasons 5 and 6). Brings it all back

As a longtime Joss Whedon fan I was keen to see what this show would be like, despite the negative buzz that's been around. I have to say, I was underwhelmed. Well, I've finally re-watched the episode again (I first saw it on YouTube in December), wow this one had a lot going on. I'm gonna start with the Jenny/Shane thing, gotta say I'm conflicted on whom to stand behind. Anyone caught this yet? As the first tv production of Rob T and Sam Raimi for a number of years AND set in a vaguely Xena-esque world AND featuring a host of familiar faces AND being shot in New Zealand.......I was pretty curious to have a look.

I wasn't familiar with the books that this is based on, but on first viewing it was all pretty stereotypical sword and sorcery stuff....full of chosen ones...destinies.....magic swords....etc etc....it did gain a little bit of oomph by...

yeah its based on the super charlene Harris books of sookie the very cool mind reader( come o read the books first tho cause they rock!!)

just watched the 1st two eps and after the blood ties mock i am a little concerned this is goona start great then bomb or even get scrapped like moonlight did,i did like the first two eps but its till early and i do wonder what they gonna do if they carry on the show and run outta books to...

I have really really enjoyed watching the Olympics over the past few weeks - already anticipating withdrawal with only tomorrows closing ceremony to go. Its great that so many Brits have done well but it is only every 4 years we really get to see (or care!) about a lot of these sports. Can't say I ever really watch cycling or swimming, but they've been great. I also found a few new favourites. I really got into the volleyball - what a great sport to watch. Not that silly beach...

Blondes may have more fun......
