Here's one yo should be interested in. It's called Escape the Museum, and centers around a woman (and her daughter) trying to make their way out of a museum (natch) following an earthquake. Of course the woman has to retrieve a number of artifacts along the way, but to go from room to room, she has to solve the actions needed to move on. For instance, she has to (a) find a mirror to reflect a laser beam, (b) take a rod to break open a crate, (c) then use the rope inside the crate to...

The finale doesn't air in the UK til Sunday, but I watched a download tonight and I have really enjoyed this season a lot. Just wondering if anyone else is still watching? I almost gave up a few times over the past few years as they sometimes seem to be making it up as they go along, but the show is a lot of fun to ponder over. Pretty much everyone can come up with their own theories about what the hell is going on!
So, anyone else still watching?

So, we're about halfway through the new series of Doctor Who - mid season break for the Eurovision Song Contest this week..bah! What are your views on this series so far? I am a big Catherine Tate fan but was wondering what it would be like with her as a very different type of assistant. I must say I think she has been great so far. Some of the more anorak-y Who fans aren't keen I hear, but I love the lightness she has brought to the show while also challenging the Doctor far more...

1. The first commmercial break appears before ten minutes of a programme.

As a huge fan of women's tennis and Justine Henin is particular, this has been a traumatic week for me. In many ways a passion for something is a very common thing. Watched the first two episodes today and really enjoyed them.
Love the banter between Chuck and his mate in the store,and the film/show references.

I have a new crush....Sarah Lancaster who plays Chuck's sister Ellie.

Anyone else seen or watched this show.Virgin 1 are showing it Monday nights and we are only up to episode 2,but i think the show has finished in U.S with 19 episodes.(season 2 ?)

What are your views on the costumes for the charactors in the upcoming film ?
I know there has been some 'heat' from fans regarding some of the costumes.I will say that while Silk Spectre has a different look,i have NO complaints at all !!!!!!!!!!!

I have not seen any of this series yet.Missed episode 1 three times already,but it is repeated again on Saturday.
ITV are not going to show episode 2.
The reason is there is not enough room in the schedule in the coming weeks due to the Euro 2008 matches.So they are dropping episode 2 because they say it is not an episode of any real importance and does not effect the storyline.It will be shown at a later date when the show is re-run.WTF !!??????

Torchwood Finale (spoilers)

Since we have a thread on Dr Who....

So, what did we think? I had remained spoiler-free (as usual lol) so I had absolutely no idea what was to come. To kill off two characters is pretty brave, I thought. Though I did like the way they did it.

Can't say I really gave a flying **** about Jack and his brother's story - other than how it impacted on Cardiff and the rest of the characters of course. I know that they've obviously been building to bringing Gray back...

Battlestar Galactica returns! SPOILERS

The first episode of the final series is out (not sure when it will be on UK tv though) and a good start to the season, although not THAT much going on apart from the end.

So who/what is Starbuck? Her ship is pristine and she has no memories of having been gone for months. Is she a clone? Apparently the producers have sworn she is NOT a Cylon, but it is quite uncertain what she is. I think this final season will see them reach Earth but we don't know when it will be. Will they...

Well....what did we think? The biggest question mark was always going to be over Catherine Tate as the new companion. I thought she was fine...and am looking forward to seeing how her character develops.

Not a particularly strong story....but this was more about the Doctor and Donna meeting up again. Got a feeling the "disappearing bees" will come up again...wasn't that mentioned on Torchwood the other day? And on the news in real life too, I think. And dumping that...

Witchblade finally coming to DVD!

One of my favourite TV shows of those golden days of the turn of the century - remember when we had Xena, Buffy, X Files, B5, Voyager etc. Anyway, Witchblade was one I liked a lot and finally, FINALLY its coming to DVD - there's a R1 release in July that will include both seasons. It's been a while since I ordered DVD from the US and the UK post office is stricter on import duty I believe - think there's a poster up in the local sorting office about a minimum £10 or something,...

I was watching this tonight and in the first round everyone got their questions right, and when it got to £1000 the next player banked.

So when they say "statistically so-and-so is the weakest link." ....what statistics? The guy they said was the weakest link was the guy who banked the money....and one of the other contestants had hesitated a lot longer in answering his question!

Anyone know?

According to that illustrious organ The Daily Star, the "feelgood factor" in Britain today is almost non-existant! They took it upon themselves to list a few things that might cheer us all up.....at the top of the list was that Dr Who is back next week. Now while i'm second to none in my admiration for the show, I can't see how even quality programming such as this is going to turn the whole mood of the nation.
