Yeah the photos were ok, but I had most of them, they could have put other pictures. What about Ares pictures as well for once?

It's a big "Lucy Lawless as Xena" one with her in the AFIN armour and the classic leathers. Very nice. I didn't get it signed though, preferred a photo as the banner look like it might wipe off!

Which banner was it ?
My friend,she got one of the Lucy in concert banners...£350 !
I only bid once this time...for an auto of Hudson (as if i haven't got enough) but lost out.

Yes I agree, not a huge selection. They could have easily got some dealers to buy space in the trading room - quite a poor selection of merchandise. However, I did think some of the newish photos and gear was nice. I bought the messenger bag and the con photo was nice. Liked the banners too - the one I got in the auction for £100 is gracing my bedroom wall. Bloody huge!!

.........I'm gonna mention as well,that i thought the selection of photo's available was awful.
Creation have a vast range of photographs covering many shows and charactors,and i could not have been the only one disapointed with the selection.
I think that there were more photo's of Lucy in concert,than there were of her as Xena.

Yeah,the Debbie Abbot vid of Blind Date was not to good,but the Life size Xena doll was quite funny.

The video i was thinking of started by stating 'We interupt this transmission',and then went into the Wonder Woman opening credits with the animation turning into Lucy and Renee....just like the original,then the opening to 'Cheers' with bar room footage and Xena credits.Friends was another show they...

THis was my first convention and I loved it. I saw Lucy and I was so happy that I could not believe it. Man, what a voice she has. She is great as a performer and as a woman.
Everything at the convention was great. Thanks a lot for the 2001 Pasadena Convention DVD, I really appreciated it, and it works very well

Dave, those videos feature Creation's favourite fan Debbie Abbot who pops up everywhere. I'm not a fan. The Blind Date thing could have been good but was too long and all her voices were the same!
OTOH I LOVED the Xena/Ares video to Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better. That was brilliant!

Thanks for the YouTube tip, Dave. I've found a way of downloading YouTube clips and turning them into avi or mpeg files so I can watch them on telly. Have a fairly motley bunch of clips from Lucy's gig all strung together that goes some way to capturing the atmos.

And from what iv'e seen and "heard"....sound quality is not so good on most of them.....I would have to say that "Gloria" looked and sounded pretty damn good!

Joyce, she's filming a movie with Adam Sandler (I just HATE him, but she's having fun) and I think she's still working on BSG. She might have just turned 40, but I thought she looked fab! Just starting up a thread for chat/thoughts about this weekend's Xena convention. Not having been to any in 7 years or so, I really rally enjoyed it a lot. A great weekend, the highlight being Lucy Lawless' concert on Saturday night. The energy was just amazing and Lucy is a great performer. I have a load of photos and will be doing a con report for the website. Do post your thoughts here.
