Hey Cathy,
I have been talking to a young lady friend of mine, and we thought we may do a parachute jump for charity.
What's it like ??
I haven't looked in to it yet,but the idea is there.

The one I did in NZ was a tandem one, which really is easy peasey! You are attached to someone and just have to keep your feet out of the way. It terms on how
scary, well I wasn't scared, just excited, but the moment you sit on the edge of the plane with the ground thousands of feet below and then you take the
tumble is quite a buzz!
Not sure what the charity ones people do here in the UK are like - are they tandem ones? I think jumping alone, actually having to take the leap yourself would be a lot more daunting (although I would love to do it!) |

Still early days and a lot to sort out but it looks athough most jumps require about £400 in sponsorship to register.Been on a few sites and had a look and at the moment i am quite excited about it. Dave |

Never saw the reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. Course, the fact that I've got a commercial pilot's license may have biased my opinion.
That and a highly developed sense of self preservations
